All welders start in this department and are required to pass a weld test before moving to another department in the plant.
Repetitive Motions : Repetitive hand and arm movements when conducting tests or entering data.
Climbing : Occasionally climb steps or ladders to access equipment or inspection points.
Bending/Stooping : Regular bending to inspect lower-level machinery or products.
Walking : Frequent walking around production and packaging areas.
Overtime is expected.
Lifting : must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
Reading blueprints.
Reaching : Frequent reaching over and around equipment or conveyors.
This job is for employees who are willing to learn the welding trade.
Standing : Prolonged periods of standing on production floor (up to 8–10 hours per shift).

Ability to complete all necessary TIG welder certifications.
The employee is regularly required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
Must be able to interpret ASME and/or PED code WPS's and other welding procedures.
Specific PPE is required within the cell.
Must be able to read and understand basic manufacturing mechanical blueprints.
Must be able to read, write, and process all instructions, written or verbal.
The employee is occasionally required to sit.
Must pass Welder Procedure Qualification (WPQ) testing requirements to obtain welding certification(s).
Ability to use lifting and moving equipment as required.
Willingness to work overtime as needed and alter hours as business needs dictate.
The employee frequently is required to stand and use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Two (2) years of related experience OR technical school graduate specializing in welding curriculum.
May or may not be required to obtain NBIC CI certification.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
